Job summary

The Poole and Kent Corporation, a leading mechanical contractor in the eastern United States, seeks a Safety Representative for our Baltimore projects. This on-site role supports the Director, Loss Control in safety controls and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct inspections, investigations, and update HASP/JHA documents, coordinate safety training, and assist with audits to maintain a zero-accident culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety or environmental discipline with 5+ years in construction safety.
• OSHA 10/30 required; OSHA 500 a plus; maintain 24 hours of safety coursework every four years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safety program development and enforcement on projects.
• Conduct inspections, investigations, and near-miss analyses.
• Maintain HASP, JHA, and safety documentation and training records.
• Support on-site field leadership with safe work practices and compliance.
