Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the National Technical Systems Group. The role collaborates with construction PMs and field staff to coordinate documentation, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor communications.

Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and log maintenance in Viewpoint, plus aiding in budget setup and payroll coordination. Full-time position in Oregon with strong career growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction project management activities.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
• Proven capability to assist with schedules, budgets and vendor communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing all project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities and coordination with field staff.
• Maintain change order, submittal and document control logs in Viewpoint.
• Support interactions with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under PM/PX guidance.
• Assist with project schedules and budgeting setup in Viewpoint; ensure timely billings.
• Support payroll data accuracy and vendor payments.
• Assist PM with ensuring adherence to project policies and standards.
