Job summary

EC Electric, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Renton, WA to provide coordination support across engineering, project management and field staff.

You will assist with documentation, meetings, scheduling and workflow coordination. The role focuses on submittals, RFIs, change orders, and maintaining logs in Viewpoint, while supporting PMs and field supervisors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM, including planning and coordinating tasks.
• Assist with maintenance of change order, submittal, and document control logs in Viewpoint.
• Assist PM and PX with interactions with subcontractors to ensure correct documentation and drawings for Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Able to read and have basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination between construction project management and field staff.
• Help ensure project billing are accurate and submitted timely per contract documents.
• Assist in writing and submission of quality RFIs.
• Assist PM to ensure timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.
