Job summary

EC Electric in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager to provide high-level coordination support across the National Technical Systems Group, partnering with construction project management and field staff.

You will assist with documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgets, and schedule updates, and may assume supervision in the PM's absence while reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Assist with coordination of project documentation, submittals and RFIs.
• Support project management and field staff in scheduling and logistics.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision of project activities and coordination per PM directions.
• Maintain change order, submittal and document control logs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain required docs and drawings.
• Create Job Information Sheets and project files under PM/PX guidance.
• Provide temporary total project supervision when PM is absent.
• Assist in writing and submitting RFIs and ensuring timely billings.
• Review construction schedules and assist with project budgets in Viewpoint.
• Coordinate payroll information with the Payroll department.
