Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager to support our National Technical Systems Group in Portland, OR. The role focuses on coordinating documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes in collaboration with PMs and field staff.

You will assist with budget setup in Viewpoint, schedule updates, and ensure timely payments to subs, while maintaining compliance with project policies and standards. On-site opportunities and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating field and project staff.
• Proficient handling of submittals, RFIs, and minutes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with project documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision of project activities and planning with PM.
• Maintain change orders, submittals and document control logs in Viewpoint.
• Coordinate documentation with subcontractors for Owner manuals.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under PM/PX guidance.
• Assist in temporary project supervision when PM is unavailable.
