Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models, create 3D models across disciplines, and generate 2D construction drawings in coordination with engineers and designers.

Working under electrical leads, you’ll apply Jacobs standards, use Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, and contribute to clash-free models for data center projects. Hybrid work model offered with opportunities across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years BIM design experience.
• Experience in electrical systems design and construction.
• Knowledge of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Ability to read and follow client design standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models for electrical design.
• Create and maintain 3D models across disciplines and 2D drawings.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, architects and engineers.
