Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical BIM Designer to set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinating with multiple teams to deliver constructible 3D models and 2D drawings. You will follow Jacobs and client BIM standards while showcasing Revit expertise and thoughtful design integration.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and management of Revit BIM models in coordination with discipline leads.
• Create and manage content toward fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, architects and engineers to meet Jacobs standards.
• Produce clash-free models using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD platforms.
