Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to develop and manage Revit BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings for data center projects.

You will work under electrical discipline leads, apply Jacobs standards, and contribute to clash-free deliverables while collaborating closely with clients and teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• Experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry.
• Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Experience with client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours for design and modeling from markups/directions.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation for electrical BIM, setup and manage Revit BIM models across disciplines.
• Create and manage content toward fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with discipline leads, architects and engineers to ensure constructible deliverables.
• Produce clash-free models in line with Jacobs standards.
