Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to lead design documentation and BIM model setup using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD. You will coordinate with discipline leads and engineers to produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings per Jacobs standards.

The role requires a strong BIM background, at least 3 years in BIM design and electrical systems, plus proficiency with Bluebeam. Hybrid work policy supports collaboration across Jacobs offices and sites, with emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years BIM design experience.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical systems design experience.
• Knowledge of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and BIM set-up for electrical systems.
• Manage Revit BIM models and coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Create 2D construction drawings and fully coordinated 3D models.
• Collaborate with designers, architects and engineers on Jacobs team.
• Produce clash-free models following Jacobs standards.
