Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Electrical BIM Designer to design documentation and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with the electrical team and project leads. You will use Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to produce coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings across disciplines.

You will work under the direction of senior designers, with emphasis on adherence to Jacobs and client BIM standards, and you will help create constructible deliverables and clash-free models for data center projects.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical systems design in construction.
• Ability to interpret codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models with other discipline leads.
• Create and manage 3D models and 2D drawings across disciplines.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, and engineers to meet BIM standards.
• Produce clash-free deliverables and accurate documentation.
