Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to drive design documentation and BIM model setup using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. You’ll coordinate with multiple teams to deliver clash-free 3D models and accurate 2D drawings aligned with Jacobs and client standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced projects in data center environments. Hybrid work policy supports on-site and remote coordination.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and the construction industry.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and management of Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline leads.
• Create and manage content toward fully coordinated 3D models across disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings in alignment with project standards.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and engineers on the Jacobs team.
