Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Assembly Technician II - MVS (1st Shift) in Greenwood, SC. The role involves assembling, wiring and modifying mid/high voltage assemblies, following engineering drawings and ISO procedures. Regularly using hand and air tools, and supporting lean manufacturing practices.

The position offers a $20.00 hourly rate with a 5 am–3 pm Monday-Thursday shift and eligibility for a variable incentive program; candidates within 50 miles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Use and knowledge of using hand and air tools.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position; within 50 miles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for HV assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Fill out ISO, quality, customer checklists and production lists as required.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
• Support engineering and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge.
