Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Assembly Technician II (Lean Line) in Greenwood, SC. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying components for medium/high voltage assemblies, with a 5:30 am - 3:30 pm shift and a $20.00 hourly rate.

Eligible for a variable incentive program. The position requires at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to use hand and air tools in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard software.
• US work authorization without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC; no relocation benefit offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work according to guidelines for various assemblies.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, report shortages, and support Kanban processes.
• Train and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Respond to change notices and development needs from engineering or supervision.
• Work with hand and power tools in a Lean environment and comply with procedures.
