Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC seeks an Assembly Technician II - MVS (1st Shift). You will assemble, wire, and modify components for medium and high voltage equipment, breakers, modules, and sub-assemblies, following drawings and supervisor instructions.

The role requires hands-on work with hand and air tools, and use of ENOVIA and Outlook/Teams. Lift up to 50 pounds and participate in a variable incentive program are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience in industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• No relocation; within 50 miles of work location; relocation not offered.
• No immigration sponsorship; follow company policy on work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify components per guidelines for medium/high voltage equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Follow manufacturing information, drawings, and supervisor instructions to established procedures.
• Fill ISO, quality, and customer checklists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment; perform wire operations.
• Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban operators; inspect assemblies for quality.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments; assist engineering as needed.
• Train and coach colleagues to share knowledge and skills.
