Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Assembly Technician for 1st shift in Greenwood, SC. You will create or place name plates for medium and high-voltage assemblies, breakers, modules, and sub-assemblies, following drawings and established procedures.

This role emphasizes lean processes: maintain Kanban inventory, complete 5S sheets daily, and respond to changes. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, use hand and air tools, and work flexible hours to support business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• SCMC certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• 3 months using hand and air tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create or place name plates for medium/high voltage units.
• Fill out productivity and 5S sheets daily.
• Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report shortages.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
