Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• SCMC or equivalent certification.
• No visa sponsorship; local candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Teams and ENOVIA.

Responsibilities

• Work from manufacturing information, drawings, sketches and instructions, following procedures.
• Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists and production lists.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations.
• Lift, handle and assemble components including heavy copper parts.
• Report material shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure hardware is secure and clean.
• Respond to change notices and customer-driven development needs.
• Support engineering, drafting and supervision with development activities.
• Train and coach colleagues to share knowledge and develop skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
