Job summary

Consumers Energy in Michigan is seeking a Senior Supervisor Electric Operations to lead planning, safety compliance and field execution for electric transmission and distribution within a defined territory, ensuring reliable, cost-efficient service for our customers in the Saginaw area.

You will oversee budgets, staffing, emergencies, on-call rotations, and coordination with internal teams, unions, and external partners, driving continuous improvement and adherence to safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field with 2+ years electrical/leadership experience
• Associate degree with 4+ years electrical/leadership experience
• High school diploma with 6+ years electrical/leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, direction, regulatory compliance and field execution for electric transmission and distribution within a defined territory
• Lead daily and weekly operating reviews and cross-functional coordination
• Manage on-call rotation and storm restoration leadership
• Ensure adherence to budgets, safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Supervise bargaining unit employees and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
