Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Manager of Electric Operations to oversee field construction, maintenance, and emergency work across the electric grid. The role requires deep technical and operational knowledge and leadership to drive safety, compliance, and measurable performance.

You will manage supervisors, collaborate with unions, and guide statewide restoration efforts while aligning with company policies and safety standards. relocation support available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical or related field with (4) years of related electrical or leadership experience.
• [OR] Associate Degree with (6) years of related electrical or leadership experience.
• [OR] Highschool Diploma with (8) years of related electrical or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field supervision of Electric teams and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Direct design/implementation of cross-location operational projects.
• Oversee grievance investigations and disciplinary actions per policy.
• Mentor and develop supervisors; manage time sheets and training programs.
• Coordinate restoration efforts during storms and outages.
