Job summary

The Manager of Electric Operations at Consumers Energy leads planning, safety, and regulatory compliance for field construction, maintenance, and storm restoration across Michigan service areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical or related field with 4 years related electrical or leadership experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years related electrical or leadership experience.
• High school diploma with 8 years related electrical or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety meetings and incident reporting.
• Design or implement key operational projects.
• Direct supervision of Electric Field Supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety manuals and procedures.
• Lead regional restoration during storms.
• Hire and mentor supervisors.
• Manage staff development and training programs.
