Job summary

The Learning Resource Network (LRN) within HHSC seeks an eLearning Developer I to design, develop, and deploy instructor-led and eLearning courses. You’ll collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to create engaging, accessible materials aligned with adult learning principles and branding standards.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in both instructor-led development and eLearning development for managers and employees in a large organization
• Three (3) years of experience developing accessible instructor-led and eLearning courses
• Three (3) years of experience developing instructor-led and eLearning assets, in in-person and virtual environments, including videos, simulations, and interactive learning activities
• Three (3) years of experience using eLearning software and instructor-led development templates

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, hybrid and eLearning courses, using ADDIE or Dick and Carey’s Instructional System Design Model.
• Creates course components from outlines to assessments, including video scripts, storyboards, SCORM packaging, and course themes.
• Maintains and updates courses; tracks revisions and ensures accessibility and brand compliance.
• Manages project plans, coordinates deployment and train-the-trainer sessions, and collaborates with stakeholders.
• Reviews content for accessibility, plain language, and readability; adheres to agency standards.
