Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an experienced eLearning Developer I in Austin, TX to design, develop, and deploy instructor-led and eLearning courses using recognized ISD models. The role collaborates with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and the Learning and Development team to deliver accessible, engaging content aligned with agency standards.

The position emphasizes multimedia development, course maintenance, and continuous improvement, with telework eligibility

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in both instructor-led development and eLearning development for managers and employees in a large organization
• Three years of experience developing accessible instructor-led and eLearning courses
• Three years of experience developing instructor-led and eLearning assets, in-person and virtual environments, including videos, simulations, and interactive learning activities

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, hybrid and eLearning courses using ADDIE or Dick and Carey’s Instructional System Design model
• Develops course components including outlines, objectives, scripts, storyboards, assessments, SCORM packages, and visuals
• Maintains accessibility, plain language, and quality reviews for learning materials
• Coordinates deployment, communication plans, and pilot sessions with stakeholders and LRN staff
• Ensures courses meet agency standards and branding guidelines
