Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS leader to oversee site activities, implement policies, and drive continuous safety improvements at Berea, OH and related sites.

The ideal candidate will champion a strong safety culture, manage key metrics, and coordinate audits and contractor safety programs. Applicants should bring a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of EHS experience, OSHA/EPA regulatory knowledge, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years EHS experience.
• Experience implementing EHS programs per OSHA/EPA/state/local regs.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and contractor safety management.
• Ability to analyze EHS metrics to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with EHS management systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee site activities to align with EHS goals (Berea/Parma, OH; Skokie, IL).
• Support the implementation and maintenance of EHS policies and procedures.
• Champion a strong safety culture and engage employees.
• Manage and report key metrics using EHS data systems.
• Conduct regular audits to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
• Verify contractors have effective safety programs through reviews and audits.
• Develop and maintain waste management plans.
• Coordinate required training sessions with third parties.
• Support incident investigations with data gathering and root-cause analyses.
• Lead teams to identify safety improvements and waste reduction initiatives.
