Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of EHS related experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
• BS degree in safety, industrial hygiene or environmental topic.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with location fatality and serious injury prevention efforts and lead deployment of key prevention elements.
• Analyze injury and incident data and support root-cause investigations to drive corrective actions.
• Oversee EHS self-assessment/audit processes and coach accountable persons to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Operations to integrate EHS into new equipment design and capital projects.
• Assist with industrial hygiene programs, sampling plans, exposure records and health hazard elimination efforts.
• Support environmental compliance activities and advise department leaders on EHS responsibilities.
• Partner with site leadership to achieve EHS objectives and foster an accountable safety culture.
