Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for the Beaumont/Port Arthur, TX area. You will lead the development and execution of environmental health and safety programs across a chemical manufacturing environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

The role emphasizes process safety management, incident investigation, training, and coordination with contractors and local authorities to maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience with exposure to several EHS areas in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and affect positive cultural change.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and influence integration of EHS policies and practices into the business.
• Process Safety Management (PSM) – Own site Hazops and PHR schedule
• Ensure that appropriate processes are in place for timely completion of Hazard Studies and Management of Change
• Security – Responsible for security of property and materials and alignment with DHS requirements
• Lead and manage a variety of EHS requirements and compliance implementation across regulations, air permitting, wastewater permitting and treatment, and hazardous waste
