Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to oversee safety, environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across U.S. and Canada sites.

The role involves leading a team of EHS professionals, developing regional programs, and reporting on ESG performance. You will partner with leadership to provide safe, compliant workplaces, manage audits, and ensure adherence to regulations, while leveraging data to drive continuous improvement and training across

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of environmental, health and safety experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry.
• Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations for hazardous and universal waste, stormwater, and permitting basics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Basics of lean manufacturing.
• Experience in working with regulatory partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and implement regional level EHS programs and systems across multiple locations.
• Develop and performance of GXO Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and systems, KPI monitoring/trending/reporting, audits and ESG reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Site and Zone EHS professionals to embed an EHS culture and meet performance objectives.
• Ensure regional site processes, documentation and training for handling, storage and transportation of dangerous goods are up to date.
• Implement and embed regional site sustainability strategies and report performance.
• Conduct EHS evaluations to assess risk and improve processes and training.
• Review, analyze, develop, and communicate health and safety programs and solutions.
