Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Manager I, EHS to oversee occupational safety and environmental compliance across U.S. and Canada sites. You will lead regional EHS programs, drive sustainability initiatives, and mentor a team of EHS professionals to uphold GXO safety standards.

You will coordinate audits, training, and reporting, ensuring compliance with state and federal rules while partnering with site leadership to advance ESG goals and safe, compliant workplaces.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of environmental, health and safety experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry.
• Experience with regulatory partners and hazardous/universal waste rules.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and implement regional level EHS programs across multiple locations.
• Lead audits, KPI monitoring, reporting and ESG performance initiatives.
• Coach Site and Zone EHS professionals to embed a strong safety culture.
• Ensure site processes for handling dangerous goods are up to date.
• Support sustainability strategies and regional leadership alignment on EHS goals.
• Conduct risk evaluations and implement improvements across sites.
• Provide PPE program oversight and safety SOPs approvals.
• Deliver onsite and remote EHS training for leadership and site teams.
• Drive environmental performance reporting and regulatory compliance.
