Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for 1st shift to lead regional EHS programs across multiple sites in the U.S. and Canada.

The role involves coaching a team, driving safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting sustainability initiatives. You will implement and monitor EHS policies, conduct audits, manage PPE programs, and provide both onsite and remote training. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of environmental, health and safety experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry.
• Knowledge of industry-related state and federal rules and regulations for hazardous and universal waste, stormwater, and a fundamental knowledge of permitting and compliance assurance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Basics of lean manufacturing
• Experience in working with regulatory partners

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of EHS professionals to embed a strong EHS culture and achieve performance objectives.
• Manage regional EHS programs and audits across multiple locations within the geographical area.
• Develop and monitor EHS KPI trends, ESG reporting, and site emissions reduction efforts.
• Oversee PPE programs, safety SOWs, work instructions, and forms.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits and provide onsite/remote training.
