Job summary

GXO is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead regional EHS programs across U.S. and Canada locations.

You will develop and monitor EHS practices, coach teams, and drive sustainability initiatives with a focus on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in EHS, with supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of hazardous waste, stormwater and permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry
• Knowledge of state and federal rules for hazardous and universal waste, stormwater, permitting
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Basics of lean manufacturing
• Experience in working with regulatory partners

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage regional EHS programs across multiple sites
• Lead EHS audits, KPI tracking, and ESG reporting
• Coach Site/Zone EHS teams to embed safe practices
• Maintain training on handling dangerous goods and PPE requirements
• Drive sustainability initiatives and regional reporting
• Conduct risk assessments and implement improvements to controls
• Provide Intelex Risk Management system training
• Support new site Startups with safety training
• Ensure regulatory compliance at local, state, and federal levels
