Job summary

Viatris is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead the development and maintenance of EH&S programs in compliance with all applicable regulations. You will investigate injuries, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to ensure workplace safety.

The role requires advanced knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, and IATA regulations, with experience in SOPs, cGMPs, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety & Environmental with 3–5 years of relevant experience; a Master’s Degree is preferred with 1–3 years’ experience.
• Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, and IATA regulations; familiarity with FDA/cGMPs and SOPs; knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, coordination, and maintenance of EH&S policies, procedures and programs in accordance with codes and corporate policies; submit regulatory reports.
• Investigate workplace injuries and incidents; prepare reports with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate data collection for environmental releases; liaise with regulatory agencies; oversee waste programs and hazardous/material handling.
