Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Sedalia Manufacturing & Distribution Center is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the site-wide environmental, health, and safety program. You will implement the SBD EHS Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive an accident-free culture through leadership and training.

The role requires coordinating with operations, regulatory agencies, and HQ, with ISO 45001 alignment and a focus on continuous improvement of EHS programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety and/or Environmental Sciences preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience implementing EHS culture in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Broad knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 standards and environmental requirements.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficient in MS Office and EHS data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Champion and communicate a clear EHS vision across all staff.
• Implement and maintain the SBD EHS Management System and ISO 45001 alignment.
• Lead risk assessments and corrective actions to continuously reduce site risk.
• Ensure permits and regulatory reporting (air, wastewater, etc.) are up to date.
• Coach EHS teams and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HQ.
