Job summary

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, based at the Stanhope site, will lead the development and execution of EHS programs across the company's manufacturing plants.

This role is responsible for driving measurable improvements in safety culture, reducing employee injuries and incidents, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring that environmental and industrial hygiene risks are identified and effectively controlled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CSP or CIH or equivalent EHS credential.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and OSHA regulations in manufacturing settings.
• Experience leading safety initiatives and reducing injuries.
• Experience managing environmental permits and third-party consultants.
• Experience coordinating industrial hygiene assessments and corrective actions.
• Ability to conduct effective compliance audits and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen safety culture and reduce injuries and incidents.
• Maintain and continually improve EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead or support investigations of injuries and significant events with root-cause analysis.
• Conduct OSHA/EPA/local regulatory audits and track corrective actions to closure.
• Oversee environmental compliance including permits, reporting, and monitoring.
• Plan and oversee industrial hygiene testing and exposure assessments.
• Facilitate risk assessments and engineering controls to reduce hazards.
• Develop and deliver required EHS training and communicate regulatory changes.
