Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an EHS Manager in East Longmeadow, MA to lead health and safety programs across a multi-facility environment.

You will develop training, oversee incident investigations, and drive safety metrics while partnering with leadership to prioritize safety in product and process design. The role emphasizes strong communication, budget management, and hands-on collaboration with the T&O Global Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, Human Resources or related degree.
• 5+ years Safety Management experience in a multiple facility environment.
• CSP, CHMM and CWCP certifications preferred.
• Experience managing claims for a self-insured employer with a proactive case management approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Business acumen, leadership and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop health and safety programs to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training for all employees to ensure safety compliance.
• Identify conditions leading to accidents and assess potential injuries.
• Administer incident investigations with prompt corrective actions.
• Assist Leadership with new product/process safety considerations.
• Develop safety metrics to identify trends and actions.
• Communicate department activities to management regularly.
• Coordinate safety policy implementation across the organization.
• Compile and interpret data related to exposure factors.
• Manage workers compensation activities, OSHA log, and cases.
• Coordinate a mentor program for new hires.
• Develop the departmental budget and manage expenses.
