Job summary

AirClean Systems, Inc. in Ohio seeks an EHS Coordinator to develop and manage comprehensive safety programs across operations.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, incident investigation, training, and record-keeping to prevent injuries and protect the environment. The coordinator will lead audits, incident investigations, and employee training while coordinating with production, maintenance, and engineering to embed safety into daily work.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and their practical application in a corporate setting.
• Ability to lead training sessions and promote a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs (e.g., emergency response, hazard communication, PPE).
• Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Training & Education: Deliver safety training for new hires and existing staff on safe work practices and emergency protocols.
• Incident Response: Investigate accidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate EHS records, including training logs, inspection reports, incident data, and regulatory documentation.
• Hazardous Materials: Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Collaboration: Work with departments to integrate safety into daily operations and foster a proactive safety culture.
