Job summary

Elmet Technologies in Euclid, Ohio seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Director of Quality & Continuous Improvement, the EHS Coordinator administers Elmet's environmental, health, and safety programs while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Quality, and an external consultant to promote a proactive safety culture,

Qualifications

3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance
Experience delivering employee safety training programs
Strong communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Lead and support EHS programs to ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
Develop and deliver safety training, new hire orientation, and annual training plans
Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, incidents investigations, and corrective actions
Manage OSHA recordkeeping, regulatory reporting, workers' compensation, and safety metrics
Facilitate safety committees, internal audits, and emergency preparedness
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to integrate safety into processes
Maintain EHS documentation, permits, training records, and emergency plans
