Precision Strip, Inc. is seeking a Safety Engineer in Ohio to lead and implement environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

You will champion safety culture, promote awareness, training, and partner with leadership to maintain safe working conditions. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health or related field and 2–5 years’ experience with OSHA/EPA regulations, strong communication skills, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; 2–5 years in Safety/EHS.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the plant safety program.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Create and implement EHS training programs.
• Communicate and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Lead and facilitate Safety Committees, investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Coordinate OSHA training and other safety programs with associates and maintain records.
• Lead risk management processes and analyze safety data for leadership reporting.
• Maintain waste management operations complying with environmental regulations.
