Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer (Civil) for Memphis to lead EHS programs on a major construction project creating AI supercomputer infrastructure. You will oversee contractor EHS management, enforce safety policies for crane and rigging work, and drive hazard assessments and training.

Strong regulatory knowledge and field coaching are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in construction EHS, and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental, health and safety within construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day EHS site management for a fast-paced construction project.
• Audit the site's EHS management program for compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH and others.
• Develop job hazard assessments and PPE requirements; implement safety policies.
• Provide technical oversight for crane, rigging, heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication safety.
• Investigate incidents and write reports to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop compliance with EPA, RCRA, DOT, and other regulations.
• Educate construction personnel on cranes, rigging, heavy equipment, welding safety, and fabrication.
