Job summary

SpaceX is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to support the construction, expansion, and operation of AI infrastructure and large-scale compute facilities in Memphis. You will work with AI hardware engineers, operations, and facilities to implement robust safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• 5+ years designing and operating EHS programs in high-tech/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH guidelines.
• Collaborate with leadership and facility teams to perform job hazard assessments.
• Monitor exposure to physical and chemical hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, hazmat, cryogenics, and electrical safety standards.
