Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local regulations; monitor regulatory changes; support inspections and audits; manage permits and reporting.
• Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: Oversee hazardous, pharmaceutical, controlled substance, medical, and sharps waste programs; coordinate vendor activities and reporting.
• Environmental Programs: Develop environmental sustainability, spill prevention, contingency planning, and reporting; support Tier II and permit compliance.
• Safety & Risk Management: Conduct inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA completion; track EHS metrics and communicate findings.
• Training & Employee Engagement: Develop EHS training and ensure documentation; support operations and leadership with guidance.
• Emergency Preparedness: Maintain emergency response and business continuity programs; coordinate weather and environmental incident preparedness.
