Job summary

CVS Health, including Omnicare, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead EHS programs across pharmacy, distribution, and corporate operations. You will partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations while improving safety culture and waste management practices.

You will oversee environmental, hazardous waste, and preventive programs, conduct audits, drive CAPAs, and deliver EHS training across facilities.

Qualifications

3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including experience with environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT and state/local regulations; monitor changes and support inspections and reporting.
Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: oversee hazardous/pharmaceutical waste and related programs; coordinate vendor activities and reporting.
Environmental Programs: manage spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response and environmental reporting.
Safety & Risk Management: conduct inspections, lead investigations, perform CAPAs and track EHS metrics.
Training & Employee Engagement: develop and deliver EHS training; promote proactive safety culture.
Emergency Preparedness: maintain and coordinate emergency and spill response plans; serve as EHS resource during incidents.
