Job summary

CVS Health, via Omnicare, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead EHS programs across pharmacy and distribution operations. You will act as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance, hazardous waste, and regulatory reporting, guiding leadership and facilities on safety and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes incident investigations, CAPAs, training delivery, and emergency preparedness with travel up to 25% and collaboration across multi-site sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience with OSHA and EPA.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs across pharmacy, repackaging, distribution, and corporate operations.
• Serve as SME for environmental compliance, hazardous and pharmaceutical waste management, occupational safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with site leadership and operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continual improvement.
• Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA tracking.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and ensure required compliance training is completed.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, spill response, and business continuity activities.
