Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Associate Manager to lead programs across pharmacy, repackaging, distribution, and corporate operations. You will partner with site leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, hazardous waste management, and safety performance.

This role emphasizes incident investigations, CAPAs, training, emergency preparedness, and environmental reporting, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

3–5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a regulated industry, including environmental compliance, waste management, regulatory reporting, audits, and/or investigations.
2+ years of experience working with OSHA and EPA.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local regulations.
Pharmaceutical & Hazardous Waste Management: Oversee hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, controlled substance waste, regulated medical waste, and sharps management programs.
Environmental Programs: Manage environmental compliance programs, spill prevention, contingency planning, emergency response, and environmental reporting.
Safety & Risk Management: Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and CAPA completion.
Training & Employee Engagement: Develop and deliver EHS training programs and ensure documentation.
Emergency Preparedness: Maintain emergency response, spill response, and business continuity programs.
