Job summary

CDW is seeking a curious, tech-savvy Support Consultant (Tier 1) to join our Education Support Team. You’ll provide guidance and troubleshooting for Google Workspace for Education core products, work with GAM and CDW Education SaaS tools, and help school districts across North America deliver an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in technology administration.
• Experience with email management and security concepts.
• Chrome OS management and device settings knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Troubleshooting and customer service skills required.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for Google Workspace for Education via email, Meet, and phone.
• Triaging and managing incoming tickets ensuring timely first contact and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot, research, and report on Google Workspace and related tech.
• Escalate complex issues while supporting escalated cases as needed.
• Train and advise school IT admins on Admin Console, GAM, and tools.
• Deliver excellent customer service with high satisfaction goals.
• Contribute to team productivity with individual ticket closure targets.
• Create and improve internal and customer-facing documentation.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and workload management.
• Stay updated on Google Workspace, Cloud tech, and CDW offerings.
• Maintain required certifications and expand subject matter expertise.
