Job summary

SMART Technologies is seeking an Education Sales Consultant to drive new business in the Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico K-12 territory. You will plan territory strategies, engage with districts, and promote SMART solutions from concept through revenue recognition.

The role requires strong presentation skills, educator experience, and the ability to travel for meetings and product demos across North America.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, education, marketing or a related field.
• Ideal experience as a former educator.
• Experience forecasting and hitting sales targets.
• At least two years of experience in education or sales for a fast-paced, technology-driven business.
• Experience working with educators.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proven aptitude for developing relationships with key decision-makers.
• Must be self-motivated with good time-management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a territory plan that identifies priority districts and strategies to hit revenue targets in the assigned territory.
• Introduce SMART solutions to districts from concept to revenue recognition.
• Identify new funding sources within districts and establish SMART connections.
• Organize and host key events, including trade shows, executive visits and channel training.
• Provide input into strategic consortia, training centers and DOEs.
