Job summary

Teacher Created Materials is seeking a Sales Consultant for a remote, country-wide role in the education market. You will partner with schools and communities to expand access to resources across the curriculum and travel for in-person meetings as needed.

The position requires 3+ years in professional sales in education or related industries, or 3+ years of education experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in professional sales in the education or related industries.
• OR 3+ years of education experience (teacher, administrator, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree required; MS Office proficiency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned goal.
• Lead for all identified schools and districts.
• Develop close relationships with stakeholders throughout accounts.
• Meet with customers to discuss areas of concern and gaps.
• Develop district contacts and cultivate relationships to drive growth.
• Compile account information and identify activities needed to close accounts.
• Maintain regular contact and increase revenue from products and proposals.
• Document expectations within accounts and expand penetration.
• Qualify opportunities and articulate probability of closure.
• Maintain CRM records and knowledge of product capabilities.
