Job summary

Zones, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a Field Account Executive to drive SLED sales across state, local government and education. This field-based, quota-carrying role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, expanding existing accounts and winning new business with Zones’ hardware, software and services.

You will partner with inside sales, solution architects, and partners to craft account plans, navigate procurement cycles, and position Zones as a strategic

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful technology sales experience in public sector (SLED)
• Proven track record achieving sales quotas
• Experience selling IT products, solutions, or services

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic account plans for Education customers
• Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT directors, procurement leaders
• Identify opportunities to expand Zones’ share of wallet
• Navigate government procurement processes and RFPs/RFQs
• Coordinate with contracts and proposal teams on responses
• Maintain a healthy pipeline to meet quotas
• Travel across assigned territory to meet with customers
