Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of 2 years of teaching and education sales experience preferred in publishing.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and meeting goals.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers, internal partners, colleagues, and management.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Strong competency with business technologies and CRM systems; able to transport materials to customer locations (lift 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
