Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a motivated sales professional in Phoenix to drive growth for our digital and print learning solutions. You will lead territory planning, build client relationships, and deliver on annual revenue targets.

The role requires a track record of sales success, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex deals across education customers and partners. Base pay is complemented by incentives and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; minimum 2 years of teaching and education sales, preferably in publishing.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers and partners.
• Documented territory management and strong organizational skills.
• Sales experience with knowledge of digital information delivery, education, or IT industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
