Job summary

Cengage Group, a U.S.-based global edtech company, is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Indiana/ Indianapolis to drive territory growth for digital and print products.

You will meet annual targets, develop strategic plans, forecast activity using CRM and company tools, and build strong relationships with customers and partners; travel and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; minimum 2 years teaching and education sales preferred in publishing.
• Proven sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with business technologies, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company tools and data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
