Job summary

Alpha is hiring Education Program Manager to coach Guides, deliver high-quality student experiences, and maintain Alpha’s uncompromising standards.

The role focuses on leading life skills workshops, motivating K-12 students, and using data to drive improvement while helping launch new campuses.

Relocation support is available; on-site work at multiple Alpha campuses in the US; 5+ years in education leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of leadership in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership role.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative, with willingness to help open a new campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops to develop leadership, communication, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and accountability.
