Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking a District IT Technician to deliver first-line technical support for students, staff, and families. You will manage hardware and software inventories, assist with equipment purchases, and perform installation, troubleshooting, and imaging of computers and tablets across schools.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to train others while maintaining up-to-date documentation and participating in ongoing IT training throughout the school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with networking client devices and educational software.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to students, staff, and parents.
• Assist in maintaining hardware and software inventory and participate in procurement.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, imaging, and software support for computers and tablets.
• Schedule and coordinate installations, maintenance, and repair of computing equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation and user instruction guides for staff and students.
